Podcast Created to Open Conversations on the Intersection of Faith and Culture

TEMPE, AZ, USA, August 13, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Bob Fabey, author of NOTMYJESUS, debuts his inaugural podcast today, dedicated to conversations on the intersection of faith and culture. 3RD SPACE is a place where listeners can be challenged, wrestle with their faith, discover biblical truths, and find grace.

As an Anglican priest, Fabey is passionate about helping people live according to their faith. 3RD SPACE is a unique platform to engage in conversations that can discuss hot-button topics, hear from cultural influencers, understand other viewpoints, and ultimately strengthen our faith.

Unlike many other podcasts, 3RD SPACE episodes are short and easy to digest, averaging less than 15 minutes per topic. The podcast launches today with four episodes, followed by new episodes posting each Monday at 6 a.m. PST.

“There is a place between work and home that is known as a third space. This is an important place where we can have conversations, community and connections,” Fabey explains. “On ‘Friends’, the third space was Central Perk. On ‘Seinfeld’, it was Monk’s Café. On ‘Cheers’, it was Cheers! Having a location like this is becoming so important that architects are creating third spaces in their plans for apartments, businesses, and neighborhoods, allowing residents a space to take a break, sit, and have conversations. I hope 3RD SPACE can be the online version of your intentional space for discussion and community.”

3RD SPACE comes on the heels of the release of Fabey’s new book NOTMYJESUS: Embracing Our Sacred Role in a Changing World.

The book’s provocative cover has turned many heads, with the artwork showcasing many of the stereotypes that people have about Jesus, such as: Jesus was a Republican, Jesus was a Democrat, Jesus had blue eyes, Jesus would never support this cause, Jesus would never say that!

NOTMYJESUS hopes to help readers:

• Identify the way people primarily view Jesus
• Get a Biblical overview of who Jesus really is
• Discover the sacred role each person plays in the Kingdom
• Gain practical ways to live in light of who Jesus really was.

“We wanted to examine how our pre-conceived notions of what people believe to be true about Jesus. Not in a hateful way, but with humor so we can all laugh at ourselves while we think about our own tendencies.”

Fabey continues, “I have been so encouraged by the support that NOTMYJESUS has received from readers. I hope the book becomes the catalyst to many more conversations on who Jesus is, what scripture says about Him, and how we are called to live as children of God.”
