Another VIP Smoke Shop manager has been taken into custody on drug trafficking charges.According to Pierce Township police, the manager of the shop on 244 W. Main, Mounira Zghayar, was arrested for 10 counts of illegal distribution of or permitting children to use cigarettes or other tobacco or alternative nicotine products. "We just expect the owners of these establishments to do their due diligence and check IDs," Pierce Township police chief, Paul Broxterman said.Police say the charges stem from an investigation that has happened over the last several weeks and more charges could follow.The arrest is the latest to come from raids conducted at VIP Smoke Shops across the region.In Warren County, the Warren County Drug Task Force raided the VIP Smoke Shop warehouse in Norwood and 8 stores throughout the county.The Ohio Attorney General's Office indicted two brothers in Butler County who own more than 100 VIP Smoke Shops around greater Cincinnati.In Newton, two people connected to the chain have been indicted on drug trafficking charges.
